Khuluma Zulu holds a USSF D license and has experience with playing competitively at the youth, collegiate, and professional levels. He played high school varsity soccer from grades 9 through 12 at Landon School in Bethesda and was All I.A.C in 11th and 12th grades. He then played at the collegiate level at the University of Maryland in 1984 and 1985, and professionally for two years (1994 and 1995) with the USISL Washington Mustangs. He has been coaching and providing training to youth in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia area since 2003. Prior to joining the Lions Soccer full-time, Coach Khuluma coached with Potomac Soccer Club. As a coach, his goal is to create an environment that enables players to reach the highest level of technical and tactical skill, develop their creativity and foster their passion for the game of soccer.
